JALISCO JULEP

This refreshing cocktail blends the Mayan honey based liqueur xtabentun with lemon juice and mint to enhance the semi-sweet notes of Tequila 1349 Blanco.


INGREDIENTS
  • 1.75 oz. Tequila 1349 Blanco

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • 0.8 oz. Xtabentún

  • 0.6 oz. Lime juice

  • 0.5 oz. Simple syrup

  • 1 candied or fresh ginger


DIRECTIONS

Muddle the mint leaves in shaker then combine all the ingredients, shake and strain into an old fashioned glass with crushed ice. Garnish with candied or fresh ginger.
